Bumblebee Autonomous Surface Vessel
BBASV is an autonomous surface vessel that is capable of navigating in the sea. It is designed by a student led team called Bumblebee, and was built to take part in the AUVSI RobotX competition in Hawaii.
I was involved in the lidar and camera fusion algorithm, and the simulation and SLAM environment in Gazebo, as seen in the paper below.
Out team won 4th place in the competition, despite it being our first time taking part.
